From Land to Sea – Fly Your Flag at Dún Laoghaire Harbour

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council are asking everyone of all ages to come together in a day of solidarity and create a flag that we will fly at Dún Laoghaire Harbour in August 2020. As we emerge from the fifth and final phase of the Covid 19 public health restrictions, the Council are asking you to make a flag with your message of hope for the future. Tell your Covid-19 story!

Once the Council receives the flags they will hand them over to members of the Dún Laoghaire sailing community to be flown from the masts of boats in Dún Laoghaire Harbour. The flags will be attached to the boats and brought out to sea in a convoy.

Please fill in your submission form and drop your flag C/O Sandra Kelly, Community Department, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire. Here are some tips on how to create your flag

Closing date: 10th July 2020
