Dún Laoghaire will hold its first St. Patrick’s Day Parade in many decades on Sunday, 17 March 2024. The parade itself will last for approximately one hour from 11am – 12 noon. The parade route will begin at Islington Avenue, proceed along Queen’s Road, and will end at the Marine Road junction into the Harbour, with parade participants dispersing into the Harbour area.

The Parade will provide an opportunity for local residents and visitors to gather and celebrate our culture, heritage, community and everything we are proud of. We are hoping for colourful floats, lively music and dancing, and maybe even a sighting of St. Patrick himself. Local schools, sports clubs, community, music and dance groups and businesses are invited to participate in the parade.
