Adult learning organisation AONTAS is running its annual week-long festival to celebrate learning for everyone. They are asking all adult learning providers and organisations across the island of Ireland to host events to raise awareness of the benefits of going back to education.
The Adult Learners’ Festival this year runs from Monday 3rd to Friday 7th March, and the theme is “Connecting Communities.”
Events can be taster sessions of existing courses, tours or talks, or coffee mornings – anything that brings people together in a learning environment. They just have to be free and open to the public.
Last year, AONTAS had over 160 events across the country and media coverage in local and national news. The first 100 events can request a FREE resource pack to be posted out, with printed posters, pens, bookmarks, and flyers. Click here to register an event and the AONTAS team will be in touch with you.
The AONTAS team will be sharing and highlighting events on social media. Tag AONTAS and use the hashtags #LearnTogetherLiveTogether #ALF25
