The Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Joint Policing Committee (JPC) meeting took place in The Talbot Hotel, Stillorgan on the 21st November, 2019.

There are four Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Public Participation Network representatives on the Joint Policing Committee, who actively raise issues during the meetings, on behalf of the community based on the feedback they receive from member groups.

The DLR PPN representatives on the Joint Policing Committee are as follows:

Community & Voluntary Pillar
– Tony McCarthy, Dun Laoghaire Active Retirement Association
– Anne Harrington, Monkstown Village Tidy District

Social Inclusion Pillar
– Eimear McAuliffe, Blackrock Flyers Special Olympics Club

Environmental Pillar

During the November meeting, DLR PPN representatives raised a query  regarding privacy at hatches in Garda Stations.  As minuted in the Report, “it was confirmed that applications for changes have been made to improve privacy and some Garda Stations have been updated.” To see the full Report, please click here.
