Are you interested in becoming a DLR PPN representative?

DLR PPN members elect representatives to to represent their views on variety of policy and decision making structures in the county, including Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council’s Local Community Development Committee, Joint Policing Committee and Strategic Policy Committees.

The 2019 Local Elections marked the beginning of a new Council term and the establishment of the new Strategic Policy Committee Scheme in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown. Accordingly, DLR PPN will be seeking nominations from DLR PPN member groups and holding elections for new representatives to sit on these Strategic Policy Committees.

We will be running two information sessions in September for anyone who might be interested in becoming a DLR PPN representative on the Council’s Strategic Policy Committees.

  • Wednesday 18th of September, Shanganagh Park House, Rathsallagh Ave Shankill, 7pm-8.30pm
  • Thursday 19th of September, Holy Cross Parish Centre, Dundrum, 7pm-8.30pm (rescheduled)

Come along to one of these informal sessions to meet with DLR PPN staff, Secretariat members and representatives to find out what being a DLR PPN representative is about,  what the Strategic Policy Committees do, what kind of skills or expertise you might need and get answers to any questions you have.
