This year’s theme for Mental Health Month is Connect. Our campaign is about encouraging people to connect with themselves, others, nature, and their communities to improve their mental health and wellbeing. Throughout October, we will share daily tips on how to connect more meaningfully via our social media channels.

Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn to stay engaged and access these tips to share with your own network. We’d love for your community to join the conversation!

We invite you to participate in Mental Health Month by engaging in some of the following activities to support our work:

  • Organise a Fundraiser: Consider setting up a fundraiser in your community. To get started, click here: set up a fundraiser. Everyone who registers a fundraiser will receive a free Mental Health Ireland T-shirt. If you’re planning a larger event, contact [email protected] for materials and support to ensure your event is a success.
  • Donate via Text: Encourage your community to text ‘MHI’ to 50300 to donate €4 and support our mental health initiatives.
  • Host a Connect Café: Consider hosting a Connect Café, a coffee morning with structured discussions around mental health. It’s a simple but powerful way to raise awareness and funds while fostering connections. You can download our Connect Café toolkit here: Download Toolkit.
  • Resources: We’ve created a range of free resources to help to engage with Mental Health Month. You can find posters here and other materials here. Some of them are attached to this email.

Don’t forget to share this webinar invitation with your wider community and encourage them to join the conversation.

If you have any questions or need further support, feel free to reach out to us at any time.
