Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council (dlr) has prepared a draft Climate Action Plan 2024-2029 to address the current and future impacts of climate change on its residents, visitors, businesses, workers and the County as a whole. The plan features a range of actions across six thematic areas:
- Energy and Buildings
- Transport
- Flood Resilience
- Nature-Based Solutions
- Circular Economy and Resource Management
- Community Engagement
The Council is seeking views from the public to help inform the final Climate Action Plan 2024-2029. A public consultation is being held on the draft Plan from 20th September to 3rd November 2023.
The upcoming information sessions are scheduled as follows:
- The Parish Pastoral Centre, Holy Cross Church, Main St, Dundrum, Co. Dublin, D14 K820 on Tuesday, 03 October from 3.00 pm to 7.00pm.
- The Assembly Hall, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, A96 K6C9 on Tuesday, 10 October from 3.00 pm to 7.00pm.
- The Round Room, The Mansion House, Dawson St, Dublin 2 on Tuesday, October 17th from 3.00 pm to 7.00pm
