The National Transport Authority has started work on a major redesign of the bus network in the Dublin region. Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Public Participation Network (DLR PPN) representatives sitting on the Transportation and County-Wide Movement Strategic Policy Committee were invited to attend a workshop on the 2nd of June that was part of the first stage of this redesign process.
To inform the views and insights our representatives brought to this workshop, we asked DLR PPN members to share their experience and knowledge of the bus routes that affect people living in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown. This survey was open between the 9th and 21st of May and people were able to complete an online survey and a paper-based survey. There were 94 responses in total. 76 were completed online and 18 were completed in paper form. The responses to this survey were summarised in the briefing document below, which was provided to DLR PPN Representatives attending the National Transport Authority’s workshop.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to complete the survey.
