Dundrum Arts and Cultural Festival: Celebrating 35 years
Dundrum Arts and Cultural Festival will celebrate thirty-five years of bringing Summer entertainment to Dundrum and District.
This year the festival will run from Sunday June 17th to Sunday June 24th with a full and varied programme which features many popular events. We have Children`s Mini World Cup Soccer in Meadowbrook Park with Dundrum Football Club, Stephen Roche Grand Prix cycling classic, Bi-lingual storytelling, Heritage walks and a Heritage Talk, Indoor Bowls, Walking Football.
Irish Night in Dundrum House, Set Dance Workshop with Padraig and Roísín McEneany, Family entertainment in Dundrum Town Centre and a Village Day in Main Street Dundrum which will be closed to vehicular traffic on Sunday June 24th.
Village Day will have Open Air Opera featuring Hansel and Gretel. This year a special attraction will be The Woolly Farm exhibition of live farm animals plus lots of family entertainment of which 95% is free on Main Street from 2pm to 5pm.
