EirGrid has launched a public consultation today on Powering Up Dublin which is an underground cable replacement programme. They are seeking  feedback on twelve route options and these can be viewed on  EirGrid.ie/dublin . EirGrid plans to install over 50 km of cables across Dublin to replace existing cables that are coming to the end of their life. They are also planning to upgrade  a number of substations to support Dublin’s electricity network.

The consultation is now open and runs until Tuesday 23rd May 2023.
