Healthy Ireland Funding 2019 – 2021 now open for application

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) and Children and Young People’s Services Committee (CYPSC) are please to invite Expressions of Interest for Round 3 of the Healthy Ireland Fund.

The Healthy Ireland Fund is supported by the Department of Health and the Department of Children and Youth Affairs. Healthy Ireland, A Framework for Improved Health and Wellbeing 2013-2025 is the national framework for action to improve the health and wellbeing of Ireland over the coming generation.

 The aim of this funding is to support local and national organisations to deliver actions that will improve health and wellbeing in line with Healthy Ireland, A Framework for Improved Health and Wellbeing 2013-2025.

The Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Local Community Development Committee and the Children and Young People’s Services Committee are seeking expressions of interest for health and wellbeing projects for inclusion in a Programme of Work for the period of November 2019 to 30th June, 2021. Submissions must be in line with Healthy Ireland; the Framework for Improved Health and Wellbeing, the Healthy Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Plan 2019-2021 and if applicable, Better Futures, Bright Outcomes; the National Policy Framework for Children & Young People.

If you have a project or idea that you feel could be developed to form part of our application for funding, please complete the Healthy Ireland fund 2019 expression form and budget.

Please find the Healthy Ireland 2019-2021 Expression of Interest form, guidelines and budget. Please ensure you have read the guidelines before the completion of the form.

The closing date for submissions is August 27th 5pm, this closing will be strictly adhered to and late applications will not be accepted. All submissions are to be emailed to community@dlrcoco.ie.
