Dún Laoghaire Harbour came into the ownership of Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council in October 2018. This has been a positive development for Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County. Dún Laoghaire Harbour and Dún Laoghaire town have, for many years, been perceived as two separate entities.
Given their close proximity and their value to the County and its citizens, it is important for both that there are stronger connections between them recognising that the economic, social and leisure development of each is vital to the other.
