The Rotary Club of Dun Laoghaire are again promoting the award for outstanding achievement by anybody living in borough or engaged in voluntary, artistic, commercial or sporting activities in the borough.
Nominations may be made by individuals or organisations, by written or preferably e-mail citation, not exceeding 200 words to Tony McCarthy [email protected] or 18 Beech Park Avenue, Foxrock on or before 17th September.
Judging will be by a panel of three independent judges who will select five of the nominees with the winner being announced on presentation night. The judges’ decision final.
The winner will receive a special award on the night together with the right to nominate a charity of their choice to receive €500. A certificate of recognition will be presented to the other four finalists. Margaret Browne was last year’s winner and her nominated charity was The Irish Centre, London.
Presentation of the Award will take place on Friday 12th October in The Royal St. George Yacht Club, Dun Laoghaire.
