- Dalkey Active Retirement Association (DARA)– The active retirement association for people who are retired and/or over the age of 55 living in Dalkey, Co. Dublin and surrounding areas. The objective of the association is to provide a focal point for active people who are in that age group, to meet and take part in social, educational, cultural and sporting activities. David Bourke joins us to tell us more about DARA and what they do.
- Blackrock Bridge Club– Blackrock Bridge Club was founded in 1944 and is, accordingly, one of the oldest bridge clubs in Ireland. Due to Covid restrictions, bridge activity was mainly online in the last two years. However, the club will resume live activity beginning this Saturday at 7.30 pm. Eddie Mortimer joins us to talk bridge and tell us more about the Blackrock Bridge Club.
- Kilmacud Stillorgan Local History Society – Kilmacud Stillorgan Local History Society will recommence its monthly talks at 8:00 pm on Thursday, 8 September in Glenalbyn Sports Club. The first talk will be Dalkey Island presented by Peadar Curran. Donough O’Reilly tells us more about the Society.
- The Irish National Sailing Club – INSC was formed in 2015. Their ethos is to spread the passion, beauty and wonder they have found in water sports. Their members take part in paddle boarding, sea kayaking and powerboating, also sailing in dinghies, Squibs, 1720 sports boats and yachts. Jack Hughes joins us to discuss further.
