Resumption of day services for adults with disabilities – New Directions

Day services will be starting back in August 2020. The HSE have developed a framework for the resumption of adult day services to support this.

To ensure the safety of people who use these services and staff, service providers must follow public health guidance. The number of people that can be supported in each service location will depend on the size of the location as we have to follow social distancing rules.

Some locations and services will be able to reopen sooner than others. Your service provider will contact you directly to discuss plans for returning.

Traditionally, many day service providers take holidays during the month of August when locations close for 2 to 3 weeks. These services will start back when locations reopen.

If the reopening date of your service provider is not listed, call or email them directly. Contact details are included on the links below.

Find details for the reopening of adult day services in CHO 6. This includes areas of Dublin South, Dublin South East and Wicklow (PDF, 132 KB, 4 pages).
